Abundances

There is an abundance of materials useful for the garden: home-made compost and a continued source of greens and browns from our household food and yard materials, free wood chips from local tree services, plenty of cardboard from packaging, affordable seeds, seedlings, plants.

We have a space inside the house set up with grow lights to start seeds, as well as access to a greenhouse.

We have sunshine and water, helpers (family members!), and access to lots of know-how, from individuals and organizational resources such as the NJ Native Plant Society.

There is also an abundance of interest and support from our neighbors who are curious about permaculture ethics and principles and in producing more food in their yards.
